Claudia Trejos

Claudia Trejos is a leading woman in the sports industry as a freelance reporter and commentator for ESPNDeportes, ESPN International and ESPN. Ms Trejos is an accomplished and authentic sports personality, sports journalist and a role model for all women and minorities. Not only is she a knowledgeable sports journalist able to reach and connect with the die-hard sports viewers, but she has the ability to move fluently between Hispanic and Anglo cultures. Before working with ESPN, Ms. Trejos anchored the sports segment, on GENTV from 2007 to 2009. From April 2002 to 2006, Ms. Trejos was the sports presenter for NBC/Telemundo’s "Al Rojo Vivo con Maria Celeste” and co-host on the weekly NBA show called “NBA Max,” where she was acknowledged as the first female color-commentator in the league’s history. Additionally, while covering the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Claudia made history as the first female to report on Olympic Boxing. She also co-hosted NBC’s “Fan Festival” in 2003.Claudia Trejos initially launched her broadcast career in 1999 at KTLA-TV Los Angeles, as a sports presenter. During this time she was also the co-host for “In Focus,” a public affairs program broadcasted by KLCS-TV. Prior to joining KTLA-TV and KLCS-TV, Ms. Trejos was the sports director and anchor for KWHY-TV/Los Angeles. In addition to her roles in the sports industry, Claudia has performed roles in the movie "Resurrection Blvd" and on the hit CBS soap opera, "The Bold and the Beautiful.”
